Strange. With the amount of Gryffindors here I would have assumed people would feel right at home with a lion.

How pleasant for the sun to finally return. Just when we thought we'd have to become nocturnal.

    [Private to Rodolphus and Bellatrix]

More Potters have arrived? They seem to breed like Weasleys. Then again some of them seem to be Weasleys.

    This town is maddening.

    Private

This is impossible. He is the foulest sort of betrayer of our blood that I could imagine. Far worse than the Black whelp and the Potter slime. This man is the most disgusting form of life I can think of, someone who would crusade against his people. Albus Dumbledore is the forerunner of the movement to end our people and make us nothing better than the muggles. I would not put it past him to perhaps even want to make us servants to those filthy worms.

I must have been poisoned, there is no other answer for why my body would betray me so. The simplest solution would be to carve his beating heart out of his chest but my traitorous body would not allow me to.

This is entirely undignified. I deserve punishment for such despicable and treasonous thoughts and fluctuations in my heart. If Amycus were here I would ask him to hex these horrid feelings from my body.

[marks from a quill stabbing at the page found here]

I can control these feelings. Feelings are meant to be controlled and used. Love and hate are very similar, perhaps my mind is just misinterpreting a new level of loathing I'd yet to before experience.

One of you must remind me what we did to be given such a pleasant gift. My face may just burst from smiling.

While there are those who are worried about the indiscretions of others, perhaps what should truly be worried about is that the meaning of privacy has been at the moment stripped away. All eyes are upon all of us, there are no secrets.

Amycus. Oh Amycus. You missed such a sight, my darling brother. Though I suppose back home you have plenty. Still, my own bitterness wishes that you were here to commiserate in my triumph.

Still, there is yet time, and I am a patient woman. You may still join me and I would have you to rejoice with me in this.

Poisoning, murder, fires. This place is becoming increasingly violent against its inhabitants.

    [Extremely Private to Caradoc Dearborn]

I've recently uncovered information relating to the supposed king of this land. Information that I find very worrisome. Given that you are the only other Auror in this place, I feel that you are the only other soul I can trust with such knowledge and I do not trust these devices.

Meet me in the forest at midnight this evening. Travel deep enough that there is no sign of town and I will be there.

This despicable fool of a man continues to bring more and more of that maddening family. Few enough Blacks are tolerable as it was and yet somehow it seemed fit to bring then entire family here? They're as over run as Weasleys. I wonder if their hair is going to begin to turn ginger. Sometimes I wonder if the Black line is tainted with some foul blood.

They continue to blossom in their idiocy and self importance, yet those who are truly worthy are far between. My brother has yet to arrive, as have any of my immediate line of the Carrows. Theodore has yet to make his presence, even his son has left this disgusting place of filthy inhabitants. Instead more weakling Blacks arrive and Rosier's bride.

It is coming to the point that I almost agonize that rational voices such as Walden or Tarquin are not about. And my dear brother, he must be coming here at some point.

My patience is running thin. One does not need a wand to kill someone, and there are too many throats in tact in this place. If my patience is tried too much longer then the urchin may have to attempt to imprison me. Perhaps he will even come close enough for me to shove my thumbs through his eyes.

It is a shame that there are no animals here. There are few better ways of clearing your mind than a true hunt. Even without magic, using more rudimentary tools. Especially depending on the degree of danger of the prey. Such a pity, really. I quite enjoy it.

[Hexed against the 'king' and his mindless peons.]

I find little appreciation in the idea of having been poisoned. Given that the potion seemed to touch every person here not completely under a fool's thumb, it's an unpleasant reminder of just how easily they could decide to slip something more deadly into the water. Or given that all of our food is in some way provided by them, they could simply poison us that way. Such pleasant thoughts, really.

It would seem fairly obvious to me who is plotting against whom. The fool has certainly shown that his intentions are less than kind towards us.

Such an interesting night that tonight is. While people drape it up in the stories of Father Christmas and his giving of toys and candies to the good boys and girls, this is inherently a holiday of judgment. Father Christmas judges the good from the bad, by his own laws, governed by none other than himself. In fact his brother, Krampus, travels along with him to punish those whom they see as wicked.

I do wonder how many people would be visited by Krampus on this eve. I do feel there would be a considerable amount.

Crowding is a most unpleasant phenomena.

[Private to Rodolphus, Bellatrix and Rabastan.]

It would seem this current influx has done nothing but lessen our numbers comparatively. Behavior on the part of this 'dark' king seems to be erratic. We can only imagine that this will become worse, especially with our numbers being separated from a central location, splitting us between this place and the castle.

My patience is growing thin, as I'm sure yours are as well.

I do not find it amusing to have been taken from my bed and placed somewhere unfamiliar. If this is a practical joke, then whoever is responsible will find themselves unpleasantly surprised. If it is not, then the same result likely will occur.

    Information is politely requested.
